Carly: You got my message.

Jason: Yeah. What’s wrong?

Carly: Um — ok, you know, Jax and I made a commitment to trust each other and to not keep secrets, ok? To put our marriage first — even though with what’s going on here right now is something that I would come to you first with if I really thought that I could.

Jason: Ok, just count to 10, Carly ok.

Jason: Have a seat.

Carly: Oh.

Jason: What’s — what’s going on here? Is Jax asking you to keep a secret?

Carly: No. But he will when he finds out what I know — if he hasn’t found out already. Jason, it’s bad, and I have no idea what to do.

Jason: I would never ask you to betray someone that you loved and make you tell his secret that’s not yours to tell. But if you and the boys are in any kind of danger –

Carly: We’re not. I mean, there’s — I’m sure there’s an explanation for all of this.

Jason: I don’t know if I — if I like this right now.

Carly: I know you don’t like it, but if I dump my problems on you like I always do, I’m going against every single wedding vow I said to Jax on our wedding day, and that was less than a month ago. And I don’t even know if he’ll understand.

[Carly sighs]

Jason: I trust that you’ll come to me if — if you need me, right?

Carly: Yes.

Jason: Whew. We all got secrets, Carly.

Carly: Yeah, but you know you can tell me anything. By the look on your face, you probably should.

Carly: Something’s been bothering you for a long time and I thought it was Alan’s death, but it’s not, is it?

Jason: We just agreed that we need to keep secrets, right?

Carly: Ok, but is this secret why you look like you haven’t slept for a month? Because you can talk to me, Jason.

Jason: Ok, Carly, you just called me over here to tell me that you couldn’t tell me something. I accepted it, now you need to do the same for me.

Carly: So it’s not because you don’t trust me or need me?

Jason: No.

Carly: I hate seeing you like this.
