Carly: What’s wrong?
Jason: Ok, let’s just –
Carly: Ok, look, if you’re bored with the bed, we could try other surfaces. You did show me some smooth moves in the shower.

Carly: Why are you being so uptight? Are you afraid your little angel Robin is going to find out about us?
Jason: Carly –

Jason: It’s the fever talking. We haven’t been together for years.
Carly: No way. I would have to be crazy to ever give you up.
Carly: Jason, I need your help. I need your help. Tony and A.J., Ty hate me. They hate me, and I’m not even sure which one is the baby’s father. They want to take my baby.
Jason: No, no, no, Carly, no one is going to take Michael away.
Carly: Jason, I have told so many lies. And I just keep thinking just one more — just one more lie. I even lied about who I am. My real name is Caroline and Bobbie Spencer is my mother and she left me and she hates me.
Jason: Carly, Bobbie loves you.
Carly: No, I did something you’re really not going to like. Jason, I told tony that you’re my baby’s father. Please don’t be mad at me.
Jason: Whatever you need, I’ll help.
Carly: You’re the best friend I’ve ever had.
Carly: Jason! Jason?
Jason: It’s ok, it’s ok, it’s ok. I’m right re. I’m right here. How you feeling?
Carly: Oh, like I’ve been hit by a fleet of trucks.
Jason: Well, at least you’re — hey. At least you’re not hallucinating anymore.
Carly: Was I hallucinating?
Jason: Uh, yeah. You thought we were in my old room over Jake’s.
Carly: Oh. What else did I say?
Jason: You asked me to pretend to be your baby’s father.
Carly: So did you agree?
Jason: Don’t I always?
Carly: Yeah. You know, at’s still the single most desperate moment of my life. I was falling fast and all my lies were crashing around me, and you were there to catch me. You mattered from the first moment. Yeah, the sex was great, but you came through for me. And you helped me with no questions asked, and that’s why I fell in love with you. Do you ever wonder what might’ve happened if things had ended up differently?
Jason: What do you mean, two?
Carly: Well, the first time was before robin told A.J. That he was Michael’s father. I mean, think about it. If it weren’t for Robin, I wouldn’t have had to come up with my plan to marry A.J. And then divorce him.
Jason: Ok, Carly, you know what? You’re sick, you’re tired. You know, don’t waste your strength –
Carly: It took a whole year for me to find my way back to you. Oh, god, that was so hard. You’re pretty tough, you know that?
Jason: Yeah, thanks for clearing that up for me.
Carly: I was so close to having you right where I wanted you. I even got you to kiss me a few times. And then I had to go and trash everything by sleeping with Sonny. For a while, I thought that was the worst mistake of my life.
Jason: It wasn’t. We both know it. You know what? I can answer your question. Where would we be if we’d gotten together? Nowhere.
Carly: I don’t believe that. You love me.
Jason: Of course I do. But I can only love you the way you need because I’m not in love with you. You can’t break my heart. And you know we’re both better off.
Carly: Must be nice to be you, never worry about what might have been. I’m jealous.
Jason: No. No, you’re not. You wouldn’t trade one minute of your life.
Carly: I wouldn’t change anything that gave me my kids or that made you my friend. And I wouldn’t change the good times with sonny. I’d happily trade my nervous breakdown for a trip to Tuscany.
Jason: Well, you got through your nervous breakdown, thank God, and you made your way back, and now you’re ok.
Carly: I realized I’m always going to love Sonny, but I need to have my own life.
Jason: That’s a good thing. That’s a good thing for me.
Carly: I’d be lying, Jason, if I said I didn’t miss what sonny and I had, you know? But Sonny and I, we were way too intense. We almost destroyed each other.
Carly: I don’t even think I can walk.
Jason: Carly, please. Please, ok? Do it — just — you need to do this for me. Do it for Sonny, do it for your kids. All you have to do is decide to keep going. I know that you can do it. Come on. Come on. There you go. It’s ok, it’s ok, come on. Just one step at a time.
