Carly: How did you get stuck down here? The paper said you wanted to stay down here and defuse the bombs that Manny left.

Jason: When did you see a paper? You were trapped down here, too.

Carly: I was, but then a rescuer pulled me out and Lorenzo took me back to Roselawn.

Jason: You’ve been at Roselawn this whole time?

Carly: Yes. I was so worried about you. Now, why the hell did you stay down here?

Jason: It doesn’t even matter. It doesn’t –

Carly: Well, it matters to me, ok? It matters to me, because you happen to be my best friend in the whole wide world and the only person that I can count on. I mean, who’s going to take care of me whenever something –

Carly: You thought I was still down here and you stayed here to save me.

Jason: I promised I’d always come get you.

Carly: And you always will. I love you so much.

Carly: Ok, I don’t remember a lot when I was kind of flipping out, but the one thing that I absolutely remember is you looking at me like I was a complete stranger and telling me that you didn’t know who I was. And I felt like the bottom dropped out of my whole world, because you were the one person that I could always count on and you were suddenly unavailable to me in a way that I just couldn’t understand. So please tell me, what changed enough for you to start walking around these Godforsaken mines to find me?

Jason: There’s something wrong with my brain. You know, I’ve been having these bad headaches, and I’ve been having these seizures, and I just can’t remember anything.

Carly: You’re obviously better and you remembered that you said would always come find me.

Jason: Well — yeah, I just — you know, I keep having these flashes of people and certain times, and that was one of them.

Carly: But are you getting medical attention?

Jason: I’ve seen Dr. Jones, and Robin came up with some experimental drug. I’ve had one shot so far, and it seemed to help.

Carly: Robin? Well, leave it to Robin to come save the day, right, to find some kind of miracle, but you know what? I tell you this. If she waves some magic wand and you are better, then I will sing her praises forever.

Jason: I doubt I’m going to be cured after one shot, because I don’t remember everything. But I remember you.

Carly: Do you remember your room over Jake’s and anything that happened there?

Jason: Not really.

Carly: What do you remember, Jason?

Jason: I remember that you lie a lot and you make things a lot more complicated than they need to be.

Carly: Ok, thanks.

Jason: It’s true.

Carly: Ok, do you remember our first Christmas? I gave you a key chain? Ok, our second Christmas — you gave me the key to your place and I was pregnant with Michael.

Jason: I remember you with Michael. You’re a good mom — protective, loving, fun — all those things.

Carly: Do you remember being in love with me?

Jason: I know you figured out you wanted to be with Sonny.

Carly: I still do. But Lainey and those doctors at Roselawn — they keep trying to talk me out of it. You know, they say I’m dependent, that Sonny and my love for Sonny is the reason that I went crazy, but that’s not the truth. I don’t believe that. I was thinking Michael was dead, and that’s why I lost it. I mean, Sonny and I — we’re perfect together. I mean, you believe that, don’t you?

Jason: I know that you and Sonny love each other a lot, and I know you guys fight like crazy, you know, when things are bad to overcome that, but –

Carly: Yes.

Jason: You know, I remember that you had your own life. Carly, you had goals, you knew who you were and what you wanted apart from Sonny. It just doesn’t seem like you have that anymore.

Carly: So you think I should let Sonny go?

Jason: Doesn’t matter what I think. You’re going to do what you want when it comes to Sonny and everything else.

Carly: Ok, well, you know what? That’s exactly what we have in common, because you only seem to do what you want to do, too, unless I really, really need you, and then you help me whether you want to or not. So, how are we doing here?

Jason: Well, I’m going to try to climb up, and if I can make it, I’m going to pull you out.

Carly: And if we don’t?

Jason: I’ll just keep trying. And that’s something else I remember about you, that you — you never give up.

Carly: Nope.

Jason: All right.

Carly: Be careful.

Jason: You ready?

Carly: Oh.

Jason: I got you.

Carly: I got you.

Carly: Ok. You have to give me points for creativity for stealing the gardener’s truck and finding my way into the staging area.

Jason: I’m surprised you even got behind the wheel at all.

Carly: I would have crawled through glass to get to you, ok? And thanks for bringing me here, because there’s a really big rock on the other side of that wall. That’s how I got out. I just can’t get back in.

Jason: Carly, why — ok, why do you make everything so complicated? I mean, seriously, like this place — you’re here for a reason, and you’re breaking out. Would it be so bad if these people would help you? Because you were really sick for a while. If you don’t want it to happen again, maybe you should just listen to the doctor once.

Carly: Really? Ok. All right, you know, I’ll make you a deal. I’ll listen to my doctor if you listen to your doctor, ok? Take Robin’s wonder drug. It’s going to be really obnoxious watching her walk around dispensing miracles like some saint, but it’s going to be worth it if you get better and you never forget me again, ok?

Jason: So, I see — me getting better is all about Carly?

Carly: Yeah, yeah, because I happen to need you. Deal?

Jason: Deal.

Carly: I love you.

Jason: Time to go.

Carly: Yeah, time to go. Ok.

Jason: Ok, let’s get up there first. Ok.

Carly: Hey — you love me, too, you know.

Jason: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I remember that.

Carly: Ok.

Jason: Ok. Ready?

Carly: Yeah.
